Uncertain from which host this horror episode came from, but "The Demon Tree" is a great story I listened to back in the 1990's on an AM radio station in Minneapolis, MN 
Can anyone help me locate this episode? 
It was a creepy tale about a hotel resort with a tree planted on the hotel property 
Guests staying at the resort relate a story concerning this very tree is reported to move on it's own from it's planted spot 
It's believed that this same tree is responsible for past guests' mysterious disappearances from the hotel

Yes, that sounds like a Dark Fantasy plot.
They had some fairly weird stories I seem to remember.
