I'm looking for the Lone Ranger. I don't see it on the site.

Welcome to the forum Bill!
I don't have many westerns posted yet. The main site is only for mystery and detective shows. These shows are posted for free download. I'll be posting western shows in the members directory when I get them, which should be very soon.

You can find some Lone Ranger episodes and some Red Ryder episodes on my Multiply site. You do have to register with Multiply in order to download, but it is free. Here is the link for my site:

I have lots of the Lone Ranger shows. This was my favorite program, when I was growing up. It used a lot of themes from classical music, and also from the old Republic Picture serials. I have a CD which has all this Republic Pictures music, arranged by Ben Bonnel, for the Lone Ranger radio show. _________________ Gil |

Brad,
Yes, the Red Ryder shows are good shows. It is a western. I think it is geared more for younger people, but adults can enjoy it, too.

Shirley...yes, and to think that Robert Blake, who played "Baretta", on TV, was "Little Beaver", back then, on TV <g>. This was about the time he appeared as the little newsboy in the movie "Treasure Of The Sierra Madre". He sold the winning lottery ticket to Fred Dobbs (Humphrey Bogart). "200 smackaroos", as Dobbs called them _________________ Gil |
