CBS RADIO MYSTERY THEATER Aug 17, 1977 "In the Fog"
Who said that CBS RMT couldn't be subtle? Here's a nice low-key ghost story about a troubled ex-soldier, lost in the fog in Boston. He meets a frantic woman and a helpful man. Or does he? Gordon Gould stars.

CBS had previously dramatised this Algernon Blackwood story on ESCAPE December 31, 1947 as "Confession".

I love "Confession". It's one of my all time favorites.
Another favorite is Escape - Casting the Runes based on an M.R. James story. CBSRMT did a version of this called "This Will Kill You" but gave no credit to M.R. James. Big pet peeve of mine!

"Triptych for a Witch" is a favorite of mine, mainly because it stars Margaret Hamilton as a witch, but over all it's also a nice solid spooky story with a kind 70's flavor (made for TV-ish?) that I find irresistible.

These are all great shows. I listened to one the other day "The Summer People" (http://www.cbsrmt.com/episode-367-the-summer-people.html) which was pretty frightening.

There is actually one episode with Sarah Jessica Parker (of "Sex in the City" fame) starring the role of both child and cat (http://www.cbsrmt.com/actor-285-parker-sarah-jessica.html) which was a little strange to say the least!

Thanks Victor. The sound on my copy of "The Man from Yesterday" gets a bit mushy at the end.
