Hello! yes, it's been pretty quiet around here lately. There are a few people that stop in now and then. Based on your screen name I take it your something of a Fibber McGee and Molly fan as I am. It's my favorite OTR show.

Oh yes indeed Mr Wicox, it's my favourite radio show of all time. My big old wife Sweety Face prefers Rocky Fortune because it gives her ideas of different ways to knock me unconscious. I just bought her a brand new electric radio to listen to in the shower.

"BUT WATER AND ELECTRIC ARE A LETHAL MIX!!! SHE'S LIABLE TO BE ELECTROCUTED!!!"""

".....Yeeeeeeessssssss!!!" Smile

Seriously, I love Fibber & Molly and listen to it daily. Incidentally, I think Harlow is ace and I love his Johnsons Wax and Carnu ads and the way they are woven into the script! Nice to meet you. How do you do, I'm sure!

Okay, here's a bit of Fibber trivia for you. The minister at my church is the son of Frank Pittman, who wrote and produced for a number of years. Occasionally he pulls out one of his dad's old scripts at a church dinner and has parishioners help him perform it live as after dinner entertainment. Fun stuff.

What a great link with the heyday of radio comedy. Great story.
