Hi friends,

Sorry, the site was down all day yesterday. I called my hosting company and they told me that someone hacked the server. They deleted all 20,000 shows, the forum and even the file structure. I couldn't even FTP to put up a temporary page explaining what was going on.

Why would anyone want to wreck an old time radio site? Does it make any sense at all? Any ideas?

I was on the phone with the guys at Hostmonster at 3:30 this morning and they were able to get it all restored for us. Thanks guys!

I have the pages, forum and podcast all backed up locally. I can always pull out the OTR DVDs if I have to re-upload the shows. Even though hosting providers aren't responsible for backing up user's data, they did have a backup on hand this time.

So, don't worry. We're not going anywhere.
