Hi,
New here, but discovered the forum during a hunt for info after seeing something listed on Wikipedia (starting to look like it's wrong!) recently.
I've been collecting the Rathbone/Bruce Holmes shows for nearly 20 years now, but Wiki seems to suggest far more than the normal shows available have been found. It indicates about 100 more have been discovered.
Searches on the net seem to be proving fruitless, so I just wondered if anybody else had heard such news?
The link to wiki is
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Adventures_of_Sherlock_Holmes
Can anybody help?

I haven't heard anything about 100 newly discovered episodes but If you can list the episodes you have I might be able to fill In some of the gaps. It's worth a try anyway. Let me know

Thanks Britt,
I won't put a huge list up, but suffice to say that I have all the usual suspects. About 60 episodes, mainly from the 45-46 years when Boucher and Green were writing and about a dozen eps from the earlier years.
I think the wiki piece is probably somebody getting the wrong end of the stick. I'd not heard about 100 episodes turning up, and if they have somebody somewhere would have made mention of it surely? |

According to one episode log 83 of the 217 episodes starring Rathbone and Bruce are available. Although a few of them may be held (unreleased for circulation) by collectors. I have some of the lesser available episodes by Rathbone & Bruce that you might possibly not have. I thought I could upload them to a shared site for you If that be the case.

Well, 83 is certainly more than I have! I'll draw up a list and PM you rather than clog up the forum with private discussion.
Cheers. |
