Dangerous Assignment. April 28, 1951

U.S. agent Steve Mitchell [Brian Donlevy] goes into the radio business! Sort of. He flies to an unnamed Balkan country to help put a propaganda radio station off the air. Also stars Herb Butterfield, Paul Frees. They cram a lot into a half-hour show. I've always liked the way Robert Ryf (writer) and Bill Cairn (producer/director) make this show a little different by using the medium of radio to its best advantage, sending their hero to all sorts of wild and wooly locations which would cost a fortune to simulate on television.

The show ran on NBC from 1949 to 1953 I believe

.
It's another Dangerous Assignment on this week’s episode. We hear the June 7, 1950 episode titled, "Find Champlin And His Reel Of Tape."

This time it's a race to stop germ warfare in Istanbul, with a gimmick that wouldn't have been out of place on the TV show 24. Entertaining stuff.
