I think the poll may be slightly flawed in that there's nothing between watching "lots of TV" and watching "very little TV". I don't feel I watch "lots" of TV, but I do watch TV regularly, so "very little" wouldn't fit my viewing pattern either. Perhaps a more scientific approach would be in order. I'd suggest a five-point Likert scale based on hours of daily viewing:
none at all
up to two hours a day
2-3 hours a day
3-4 hours a day
more than 4 hours a day

Haha- yeah it needs an option for "I watch an average amount of TV" or something. Probably 2 hours a day or so, maybe three nights a week, and only what I've Tivo'd.
I guess that could be qualified as "very little TV" compared to people that watch multiple hours every day, so I voted that. |
