Can anyone recommend sci-fi or horror shows with VERY strange sci-fi concepts / interesting alien worlds / shows with monsters?

It's sometimes hard to tell from the titles of shows whether or not they have these kinds of elements.

I'm looking for more of the pulp style sci-fi & horror rather than hard sci-fi / science shows that don't feature aliens. Eerie sound FX and music is always a plus too.

So far the shows that have impressed me in this vein have been the Lights Out episodes 'The Dark' (with a shadow creature that turns people inside out) and 'Revolt of the Worms'. A couple of the Space Patrol episodes were decent though SP comes across as a VERY cheaply produced show that is woefully skimpy on the sound effects.

Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!

There's a wonderful series from the late '70s called Alien Worlds that has great production values and thoughtful story lines. Of course, Bradbury 13 is also great if you like the works of Ray Bradbury.
