A Case For Dr. Morelle

These days, Dr. Morelle would be considered a "forensic psychologist." Accompanied by his devoted secretary, Miss Frayle. The doctor solves cases through his knowledge of human personality and behavior. He is arrogant, pompous, and full-to-overflowing of himself. Indeed the greatest mystery may be why Miss Frayle is so devoted to the good doctor, who often treats her with disdain.

Broadly drawn with comedic overtones, these are quite good fun.

The episodes here are from a 1957 revival; the original series ran in 1942 at the height of the London Blitz and was, no doubt, a refreshing distraction for Britons under attack. Between 1942 and 1957, there were two other radio revivals and a movie, but none of the earlier radio episodes remain. Learn more at: (Geocities.org, the Geocities archive)
