This was a very popular British show [domestic sit-com] which began, I believe, in the 1950's.  This was a real family who had come over to England during WWII and they stayed permanently and were well regarded by the British public.  There was Ben Lyon who made a movie or two in the USA, his wife Bebe, who like Burns and Allen, was portrayed as a bit dizzy, though she was not and had a hand in scripting some of the shows.  There was Richard their son and Barbara, their daughter.

There were some guests who are long forgotten except one: Ronald Reagan.
